Manufacturing and quick release pins trading

In 2007 SAS ALPHANUM created Sarl ARVs by reactivating and redepositing the mark.

ARV specializes in the manufacturing and trading of quick release pins (ball lock pins), products primarily used in the aeronautics industry. ARV is mainly specialized in manufacturing custom-made quick relase pins (ball lock pins).

Easy handling pins

Quick release pins (ball lock pins) are quick fasteners available in several metals (steel, stainless steel, hardened steel, etc ...), under a wide range of diameters and lengths.

They are ideal for securing objects in all sorts of areas, although aeronautics applications are prevailing.

Thanks to their very reliable grip with one hand, quick release pins (ball lock pins) are excellent alternatives to other products.

Locking system for quick release simple and double acting pins consists of two ball actuated by a plunger :

• In position "rest", the plunger holds the balls, and is beyond the pin body. These are balls which thus ensure the locking, the plunger itself being held by a spring;
• In position "work", the plunger allows the introduction or the withdrawal of the pin by the balls back in the body of the pin.

The locking system of detent quick release pins is easier : the pins are held in position of "work" by a simple spring, The introduction or removal of detent pins is made by pushing or pulling it.

One of their main qualities is a very strong resistance / weight ratio.

A pin for each situation

Quick Release Pins come in three product families :

Detent Quick Release Pins		Single acting Quick Release Pins		Double acting Quick Release Pins

These pins are equipped with push button : the push button allows to engage the pin without resistance, and, when the button is released, a rod with a captive spring brings out the locking balls, allowing a perfect fixation.

These pins are available with a wide choice of handles, depending on the specific applications for which they are intended.

Our pins are made to measure and meet the specifications required by the customer. They are also available with a wide choice of optional extras: two or four balls, with or without extractor, marine pins etc ..

As well, depending on their final destination, our quick release pins can be manufactured in several grades : for military use, aerospace, commercial applications ...
